Oklahoma

Rules in Effect: Yes

Summary: In 2008, Oklahoma adopted UST operator training rules with an ambitious deadline of training all Class A, B, and C operators by July 1, 2009. (The Oklahoma Corporation Commission plans to extend the deadline to 2012). The rules follow basic federal EPA grant guidelines. OK recognizes Class A, B, and C operators, requires refreshers for violators, proof of competency, and proof of training.

PTS Status: Our Class C course, available in Oklahoma, is not approved because the OCC PST is not approving any Class C courses at this time.
